Írjon visszajelzéstAwesome experience in stunning restaurant!! This was definitely the best restaurant we've visited in the Whitsundays. The food was simply incredible, such an amazing job by Trent Dawson and his team. Incredible flavour combinations with a beautiful variety of locally sourced ingredients. Also great with dietary requirements. Out waitress Kate was super friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Great selection of wines, beers cocktails(absolutely loved the Mango Chilli Margarita) Beautifully decored and furnished, you can't see much of the view at night but imagine it'd be beautiful during the day or at sunset. Genuinely first class experience, would highly recommend if you're on Hamilton Island! Make sure to book far in advance.
Came here for my birthday dinner and it was superb! The staff are super friendly and the food is divine. We had the degustation menu on a Saturday and usually when you go for a degustation there is a dish or two that you probably wouldn 't like. But at Bommie everything was delicious! If there was a fault it would be that by the end of it, we was so full we couldn 't move lol My partner and I loved the cocktail 'Coconut Vanilla Daiquiri ' I ordered a mocktail in that version which wasn 't on the menu but they whipped it up for me anyhow and it was deeeelicious! 10/10 would come here again
Excellent dinner! Second visit here and it became even better, more sophisticated and fancy for a romantic night. Amuse was refreshing, for main I ordered chicken wings which was very interesting way of cooking and tasty. The most surprising was the dessert, which was made of different wine and liqueurs and the presentation was artistic which you couldn’t stop but taking pictures of it.
We came here to have a drink about 1700 and also to have a look at the turtles on the bommie deck. I had a corona $9.90 and my partner had a cocktail $21. Very relaxing watching the sun go down. Unfortunately we didn’t see the turtles but saw a ray on the evening as it was low tide. We returned the following morning when the place is closed 1000 and it was high tide we saw a turtle swimming along the shore line.
Never fails to please, would have to be the finest cuisine on the island, I haven't been able to for years, but if you feel you can take on 7 courses plus an amuse bouche and a pre desert and sometimes a few added extras from the chef also I would suggest the full degustation menu with wine pairings. Best way to go, just far too much for my stomach to take on nowadays. There has never been a dish I didn't thoroughly enjoy here. Will always recommend people add it to their itinerary. The only downside to this restaurant at the moment are the chairs, they become very uncomfortable after a short period of time and would suggest they update these to something a lot more comfortable especially considering you could be there for a minimum of 3-4 hours if you do choose the full degustation.
