The Original Pancake House Whittier

The portion sizes were generous and the prices were fantastic. Our server, Yolanda, was delightful, and Kevin stepped in during her break and was equally charming. I ordered the eggs, hashbrowns, and pumpkin pancakes, while my friend opted for the bacon omelette, which he enjoyed, and sourdough pancakes that had a rather unique flavor. The coffee was good, though I wished it had a bit more strength, as it was quite mild.

My daughter suggested this place for breakfast and I was glad to oblige. They had open sitting in the parking lot and that's where we were seated. So I cannot comment on the inside. Our server was very helpful, unfortunately I forgot her name. The food was fine. Their 49'er Flap Jacks is one of a kind. It was chewy and tasted really good. Price is on the high side though!

Always the best service at this location. The food is always so delicious, you will leave very satisfied with ur breakfast experience a full tummy. Love the staff there, such hard workers.

The pancakes were delicious, and I really enjoyed them. I definitely plan on returning to try more dishes. However, on weekends, it can take quite a while to get a table, and the service is slow as well, which is why I’m giving it four stars. Additionally, I didn’t receive any napkins. Every detail counts, from the smallest things to the overall experience, but I still recommend this restaurant!
