Kelly's Family Diner - Wichita East

Kelly’s Family Diner used to have wonderful roast turkey dinner as a Thursday Special but note that currently as of July 25, 2024) they DO NOT HAVE TURKEY : . Apparently they are unable to get turkey from their supplier. I hope they correct their website which shows turkey as a Thursday special AND I hope they let customers know if/when they have turkey again. I hate to have to bother staff by calling every Thursday to ask. Thanks.

I love this place! I don't what I like better... chicken fried chicken or the chicken fried steak. Everything is made with love.

The food is always great. You get tons of food for the price. The staff and the owners are wonderful! Kelly truly cares about the citizens of Wichita and will often donate turkeys or hams for holidays to those who need it and when she can will even open on holidays for people to enjoy a warm holiday meal for free. I truly recommend going to Kelly’s and experiencing this wonderful food and staff!

If I could give this place a zero I would. They do not believe in customer service. There was 3 ladies working that were rude and gave you a cold vibe. It took 11 minutes to get the first refill of coffee that we asked 3 times for. When our breakfast finally arrived we were not pleased. The flavor was like old oil used to cook our food. I didn't even eat my meal. This place doesn't deserve a second chance. We do not recommend.

Rude service! Potatoes an onions were not cooked ...onions were still raw.Our main meal wasn't great, and ranch tasted sour. Nicely told them that the potatoes and onions weren't cooked all of the way. They never once said sorry, or attempted to make it right. We both ended up with horrible food poisoning and ended up in the ER. Won't be back!
