El Agave Mexican - Wichita

We've gotten to-go food from here on several occasions. It's never ready when we get there, they don't ever seem friendly or welcoming or update us on when it will be ready. I could understand if it was busy, but it never is. Maybe it's a language barrier, I don't know. Food tastes good when we get it though.

I don't get why people say this place has good service. We went there on a busy day and assumed the slow service was due to the amount of people. Giving it another shot, we went when the restaurant was less busy. We got seated and then nothing. For 25 minutes, nothing. Staff walked by us. Guess we got our answer. Never going back.

They were a short-staffed, I'd imagine due to covid, but they were obviously working so hard to keep everyone happy. Despite the pandemic and the staffing issues, the food was PERFECT. El Agave never disappoints. 10/10 recommend the Enchiladas Agave and a coronarita!

The food is good! The portions are generous. My only complaint is that the service can be a bit slow. The food arrived promptly, but the waitress was slow in refilling our drinks.

I really enjoy dining at this restaurant. It has a relaxing atmosphere and the food is delicious. The prices are also very reasonable.
