Lovely rustic style gourmet pub. Delicious seafood dish. Staff were very friendly and service was great. We chose from the Sunday menu, which offered a wide variety of options, including roast dinner, scampi, curry, and pasta, along with starters and desserts. There was also a specials board. I opted for the scampi, which came in a generous portion alongside delicious, chunky chips made from real potatoes—definitely a homemade touch! My husband had the roast, and the Yorkshire pudding was enormous; he thoroughly enjoyed it. Although I made our booking online, I didn't receive a confirmation email, which led to some confusion, and we almost missed our time slot. Thankfully, the restaurant called to check if we were coming, which was a lifesaver for our group of seven! We reported the issues with the website to the staff. We will definitely be returning! As for parking, there is a gravel car park that does tend to get a bit flooded when it rains.
