Even though this is very capacious restaurant, you won't always get a table by the window view is amazing. I would say food is quite good for Switzerland, not just for the mountain top :

Come here for breakfast!! The extensive buffet is just delicios and the view is just absolutely amazing! They also have sunrise tours in the summer, spectacular!!

For the sunrise it is worth coming to the säntis. the breakfast buffet is however beyond...Here you can look a lot from the buffet in the high box.Lovelessly prepared buffet in the wart hall, in poor presentation and questionable quality. the rösti tastes, erm no warning, at least a little after kartoffeln- plus the hard egg and the five minutes eggs (does not play a roll, is both hard) would be a freshly prepared mirror egg probably also not a giant wall- the müesli is a pampy tasteless mass- the cheese is well required locally, but for so long

Despite the fog, we have not regretted to take the breakfast on the säntis. the railway is worth it and the mineral museum is worth seeing.
