Coastal Blue Oceanside Grill

Menu was minimal which is sometimes always better so it's easy to choose. Enjoyed our service and food but hotel was undergoing some renovations so the view was not ideal.

This place is small but nice and clean. The staff was good. We loved the food. I usually only ever review something that is really good and worth 5 stars. The food here definitely was worth 5 stars. I had probably the best waffles I've ever had in mylife, Sugar Pearl Waffles. We also tried the breakfast quesadillas and blueberry pancakes, everything was delicious. The onlyreason I knocked a star off was because we are traveling with a child and they didn't seem to acknowledge her. It sounds odd butnot something we've ever experienced, which is why it stuck out. When we were all seated she wasn't given a menu,napkin/utensils and when we asked for water for all of us she wasn't give one either. She's not a baby, she's 6 but it's likeshe wasn't even there. No one was mean just a slightly odd few minutes requesting things for her. Again food was amazing, placewas nice and staff was good.

Here for breakfast and we loved it! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Beautiful landscape, staff was great and the food was great. We will definitely be back

Stayed at Icona Diamond Beach and had their breakfast buffet at Coastal Blue. I highly recommend it. Especially the fresh fruit, eggs, and potatoes. Sooo good. Right by the beach. Great way to start the day!

Wonderful dinner with friends in a beautiful seaside room! Thanks Chef John, I loved the fried tomato appetizer, grilled shrimp over creamy risotto with crab, and your homemade bread pudding !
