Have been a long time customer for 15 years plus, food has generally been great and we come here regularly. However I'd like management to review their wait-staff. Most recently I've come there with a group of my friends (8 of us) and when I requested a particular dish (not on dinner menu but was on lunch menu) that's usually not a problem and not questioned I was simply told "kitchen too-busy can't do it". This sort of response is UNACCEPTABLE to ANY customer and for a long-time customer it is very disappointing. If the response is "too-busy" then I wouldn't recommend any one to come which is a shame. Not a good way to promote your restaurant, please review and train your wait-staff properly. A restaurant is only as good as their wait-staff and management must act upon it. Other than the incident above the food generally is good but the quality of wait-staff is definitely a hit-and-miss affair.
Regularly go here. Never disappoints. It's the same distinctive freshness every time, that distinguishes it from so many ordinary restaurants. For example, I compare the Singapore Noodles between here and elsewhere. At Foo Win, it tastes just as it should: that it just came out hot and smoky from a wok that's been seasoned through cooking a thousand dishes, and again that freshness. The black bean combination is another winner. The sauce is just the right intensity, without the stale excess saltiness you find in too many places. And here's another example of a great way to test an Asian restaurant: try a prawn. These are King Prawns. It's all in the texture (resilient to the bite, not just chewy and "old"), with a clean taste - freshness again. I could go on, but you get the message. I don't understand some of the negative reviews I see. Yes, occasionally the service is slow when they're busy, but hey, live a little (longer). The people are delightful; we've been exchanging pleasantries with the owner for literally decades now. Go there; it's the place we recommend to friends and family.

So disappointing. The chef must be European. Never again!! We ordered curry chicken and beef hour fun with egg sauce, the beef was so tough, chicken was tasteless. Steam rice was either from the bottom of the pot or from last night. You would be better off going to McDonald next door.
