Opus 9 Steakhouse - Williamsburg

Opus is our favorite restaurant in williamsburg! the best Sunday brunch ever! Unfortunately, we are not in a position to go so often with the price increase that I am sure of the state of the economy. I highly recommend it for high quality adult food.

My wife and had 4:45 weekend reservations. Upon arrival we waited while hostess checked our table 3 times... which also involved a manager. Finally seated in a room with 1 table with a family. Noone else in the whole restaurant. We were seated right next to the only other seated table. Giving both tables no privacy. We have been to Opus 50 to 60 times... never had this happen. Very strange. Service and food great, as always.

Great food, an outstanding Sunday brunch. Service was excellent attentive without pestering. We will go anytime in Willismsburg.

I’ve heard such great reviews of Opus 9 that I was expecting the best steak of my life. It wasn’t. 3 of us at the table had the 8 oz filet. They were good but not great. Honestly, a little tough to cut through. I’ve had filets at other high end restaurants that you could cut through like butter. This was not that experience. For a $60 steak I guess I expected more. Had a caprese salad with mealy tomatoes and mozzarella that I am guessing isn’t made fresh. Overall, it’s a beautiful restaurant and the service was good. Food did not live up to the hype. A good steak in Williamsburg but I wouldn’t go much further than that.

I love Opus 9 the atmosphere is lovely , the service is impeccable and the food is always delicious.
