Írjon visszajelzéstThe bahn mi (S6 S7) and seafood soup (H3) were very good. A7 fried wontons were OK... Sadly the A1 Vietnamese spring rolls were missing from the order.
I am a Pho connoisseur. I eat pho at least three times a week. I travel around the tidewater area and eat Pho in my travels at many different restaurants. This restaurant is one of the best in the area. The pho is outstanding, and taste is very traditional. I ordered a small and it was enough for a very satisfying lunch. The staff was very prompt and attentive. I'll definitely be back. I recommend giving it a try if you like authentic Vietnamese food.
I don't think of Williamsburg Va as a place to find genuinely good Pho, but here it is!The Newport News location was my first experience. This one is Great as well.
I'm not very familiar with the area but had a doctor's appointment nearby and needed to grab a quick lunch. It was rainy and yuck outside, so I search up soup and this place popped up. The Pho 79 locations tend to be hit or miss, but I found one recently in Hampton that I like so I thought I'd give it a shot. This location was substantially less good felt like a fast food joint with slightly fancier tables. It's fairly like a 2 1/2 stars.Service was really slow, and the flavor for the broth was pretty bland. I'm used to that deep, meaty feeling that seeps all through your bones. This felt strained and thin. I only got through about half of my portion and took the rest home usually I destroy my leftovers, but when I reheated, it was even worse. I most likely won't visit this location again. The area seemed cool with lots of other shops/spots, so maybe if I'm here again in the future I'll try something else nearby.
This restaurant does not serve authentic Vietnamese food. We were fooled by the restaurant's name and menu items (printed in Vietnamese , which made me think it would have good authentic food. The pho was too salty and had no pho aroma. Not sure what they put in the broth to make it so dark brown. They also used vermicelli noodles in the pho, instead of wide flat pho noodles. The goi cuon was poorly rolled, it was too loose, letting all the ingredients fall out. For dipping the goi cuon, they had hoisin sauce sprinkled with crushed peanuts (they called this peanut sauce ? . Worst Vietnamese food I've had in awhile, don't waste your money here.
