The Strand Restaurant - Williamstown

Winters night couldn't keep us away from The Strand after a hard days work. The restaurant was warm and welcoming on a chilly winters eve.

Six of us had a Mother's Day breakfastTook 45 mins to get our coffees.

Party of 12 couple of weeks ago for a birthday party and I have to say that the service was just exceptional down to the fine detail. I had the steak as you do and it was cooked perfectly and all the sides were very well done. My wife had the lamb and my daughter had the kitchen and all of them commented at how well the food was done. we had the ravioli as entree and the pork belly and the ravioli was magnificent but the the staff were just very switched on just to the small detail. wine and beer list was good with a craft beer selection.

Had a very enjoyable family lunch at The Strand. The seafood platter whilst expensive is highly recommended. Our other dishes such as fish & chips, spaghetti marinara & salmon were all good. The dining room though not large , is bright with large windows, & views of the marina & Melbourne city in the distance
