Apple Annie's Bake Shop - Wilmington

I visited this restaurant for the second time, and the desserts were excellent with a fantastic variety. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but for the most part, it's worth it. However, the customer service leaves much to be desired; I expected better, especially from a family-run establishment. The shop is small but well-kept. I plan to return, but if the customer service remains the same, it might be my last visit. I enjoy supporting small businesses, but inadequate service can be a deal-breaker.

They know their strengths and are committed to making things right if something doesn't meet expectations. They genuinely appreciate their customers and work hard to keep them satisfied. I find their prices comparable to those at grocery stores, but even if there were a slight difference, I would continue to support them as a local business. They offer far more than any large chain could. I recently ordered a sizable batch of custom cookies for a baby shower, and they were not only delicious but also individually wrapped, which was a great help for me and ensured safety for the guests during these COVID times. If you can, definitely support this local bakery; you’ll find that they truly listen to and appreciate their loyal customers.

The PERFECT CAKE for a 21st birthday! I wish I could give them a thousand stars! Everything I've tried there is delicious, and this cake was no exception. The staff is excellent, and the food is absolutely heavenly. You can't go wrong with Apple Annie!

Ordered a German chocolate cake over the phone and had it delivered the next day! It was absolutely delicious and presentation was beautiful! My new go-to bakery for sure. And the prices are great!
