Írjon visszajelzéstWe visited on a Tuesday and decided to try their special: two pizzas accompanied by a side salad. We upgraded the salad to their version of a Caesar. To drink, we enjoyed a Peroni and a French 75, while our child had a Pepsi. Unfortunately, the French 75 arrived a bit warm because there was only one other customer at the bar. For starters, we ordered a child's portion of buttered pasta. It consisted of rigatoni, which was served piping hot but unfortunately lacked the proper texture; instead of being al dente, it was hard. Next, we sampled the Caesar salad, which was served in a large portion. It included both roasted and raw Brussels sprouts with pesto. The best way to describe the salad would be "dense," making it quite difficult to eat. The Caesar dressing wasn’t particularly well-balanced, and while the pesto was acceptable, it got lost in the overwhelming presence of unsalted roasted and raw Brussels sprouts. As for the pizzas—specifically the Pizza Alla Carbonara—they were disappointing. Both lacked distinct flavors, with a burnt side on each to boot. This indicated a lack of experience in properly using the wood-fired oven. Overall, we left wanting more flavor and creativity from what should be a vibrant pizzeria. While the restaurant clearly had an eye for design and presentation, if you're after a good pizza at a more reasonable price, I would recommend Slice of Life, even if it isn’t the most picturesque setting.
Wow, this place is fantastic! I can't believe you didn't place an order. I tried the Mind's Pizza and it was incredible. I definitely plan to come back often. I would have posted a picture of the second Chocolate Brownie cookie, but I just couldn't wait to dig in!
The Green Monster could use some adjustments—it would benefit from lamb sausage instead of Italian sausage, and the rosemary leaves should be more evenly distributed rather than clustered together, as they can be overpowering or nearly undetectable. I was eager to try the King Louie pizza, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The spiciness of the Serranos combined with the sweetness of the pineapple jam and mint was an interesting concept, but it just didn’t appeal to my taste. That said, if you think it sounds intriguing, I would still recommend giving it a try for yourself!
An absolutely perfect experience! I came late, but still top notch service! Meating the Minds Pizza is amazingly good. Airy but filling crust is delicious, and the meats and cheeses above are amazingly rich! Personally, I like a little more firmness under the crust, as it was a little dizzy, but it was so good that I was not interested at all! One thing that is a must is the Hot Honey. I don't know what's in it, but I want to buy it from the gallon! Instead of the usual crushed red pepper, the hot honey adds a tiny piece of sweetness and heat that perfectly complements the pizza. More places should offer this!
The espresso martini was so delicious! And the pizza we got was some of the best we?ve had. Reminded my husband and I of pizza we ate in Italy. Even our picky toddler ate 2 slices. A beautiful place with great food. And our server Susie was amazing.
