Cafe Napoli - Wilmington

The family and staff at Cafe Napoli as so sweet and genuinely good people. This weekend I ordered some pizza from here and a few entrées. The entrées are enough for 4 to 5 separate meals! The gnocchi is delicious and the red sauce was great. The baked ziti was a little liquidy but I requested blush sauce which was out of this world. The pizzas were good with fresh toppings abut the I couldn't believe the margarita pizza was $20 for a medium! The online menu was hard to use (couldn't figure out how to do 1/2 topping with cheese or request blush sauce) so I ended up calling to order.

I usually don't like to post bad reviews but I had to on this one. Went there after work to pick up my food for dinner. Ordered a large margarita pizza, veal Marsala, and fries. Everything was below average. The pizza was undercooked. The veal marsala was probably the most decent thing I've tried. But what turned me off was that there was spaghetti with marinara sauce on top. Why they hell would you put sauce on top of the spaghetti without asking if the customers wanted it or not. I usually order pizza from Luigi's Cafe but unfortunately, they are closed on Mondays. I decided to give this place a try (since I like to support local business) but this is something I truly regret. On top of that, customer service skills were horrible. They all need to have proper training. No HELLO, THANK YOU, GOOD-BYE, HAVE A NICE DAY! They took the payment with no smiles OR thank you (after a nice tip). WILL NOT BE RETURNING DO NOT RECOMMEND if you want decent food with quality service.

A local favorite. Big portions, plenty of staff, great pizza,terrific pasta dishes, great antipasto. The people that work there want to make you happy.

Busy spot but on a Thursday night but so worth it! Despite being so busy, we were seated within two minutes. I got the lasagna and my husband got manicotti with meatballs and sausage. Both were excellent. I think it's their special sauce that makes it so good. Food is moderately priced, but portions are huge. Our waitress was exceptionally nice and very attentive. Ample free parking as this is located in a shopping center. it has the feel of a neighborhood eatery where everyone knows everyone else. Very friendly atmosphere.

We had lunch in the restaurant, portions are plentiful. Very tasty and well presented. I definitely recommended.
