Carolina Bbq Seafood - Wilmington

It could be they weren't expecting diners on New Years Day so perhaps that's the reason they ran out of bbq and peel and eat shrimp. We didn't know this until after we sat down and were served our drinks and we should have left then as we really wanted bbq but decided to stay and give e seafood a try. Fried scallops were rubbery, fried clams were over cooked as was the fried flounder. Next time we are in the area we might give it a second try but will ask if they have BBQ before we get seated.

You definitely get your money's worth in the quantity of food. It wasn't the best, but it wasn't bad. I'd say average. The waitress was very attentive. If you're hungry and want seafood, it's fine.

Order from Carolina BBQ for dinner tonight. We ordered their family meal (8 pieces of fried chicken, pork BBQ, Cole slaw, hush puppies) and I made Mac and cheese. The best fried chicken I have had I'm a very long time. I do not eat most places fried chicken because it is just to greasy for me. $22.99. I fed my crew of 5 (and that is feeding 4 adults and one teen age boy) for that plus the cost of the Mac and cheese. This place is so worth it!

Delicious food, friendly staff, big portions. Will definitely go again in the future!
