The staff and Chef are top notch!! Every visit is an explosion of the senses! This time we started with Hijiki salad, and Miso soup then we had the Seafood Cream Croquettes, 4 rolls of sushi and finished the meal off with red bean Mochi and you can’t forget their home made Carmel candies that come with the bill. This is truly a Magnificat small family run restaurant worth a visit if you are ever in the Wilmington area. We have driven up from Southport several time just to eat lunch or dinner. Being Japanese myself, I 've experienced so many so called Japanese Restaurants that barely serve actual Japanese food/meal.... However, Chef Danny at Genki actually offers Japanese food that you can eat in Japan and remind me of my country. I have no doubt this place is the most authentic Japanese meal you can get not only in Wilmington but in New Hanover county. I really enjoy eating there evey time! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The best Sushi around. The Ambiance needs a little upgrade. Other than that highly recommended.
