Islands Fresh Mex Grill - Wilmington

We thought we would bite for a late evening and Angel gave us the best experience. He was so attentive and patient even in the late hour. Wow, what a great thing, late night food and incredible service. Give the man a raise.

Ordered delivery from Islands Fresh Mex Grill tonight 8/7/22 based on others reviews. It was completely cold, no forks for taco salad or burrito bowl (in delivery bag), no grilled onions or peppers that we paid extra to add and southwest chicken was unidentifiable (looked like ground beef). I've been sick since I tried to eat it. Do yourself and your time in Wilmington a favor and go to Taco Bell or Chipotle, sadly, either would be better. That's what we get for trying something different. $33 wasted!!! ??

Our selections were excellent. The prices were more than reasonable. During a very busy lunch, one of the staff checked on every table to make sure we were satisfied. I wish we lived closer.

This has to be the best Islands location! We had tacos, guacamole, and margaritas while the kiddo played in the playground. The ground chicken was very bland this time but everything else keeps it at 5 stars for me!

Went in after 5pm and tried the $1 taco special requiring you to buy a drink at regular price. Got three soft tacos, two beef and one seasoned chicken. Hand made in front of you as you pick the toppings. Fresh ingredients and delicious salsas.
