Ideally, when you walk into a pho restaurant, you should be hit with a strong aroma, but here it was barely noticeable. It just didn’t meet my standards for a good pho broth. I can understand why there aren't many Asian customers; it seems to cater more to American tastes than to authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I was very disappointed, especially considering that the chef claimed to be Vietnamese.
I ordered a small bowl of brisket Pho and some fried spring rolls. The spring rolls were alright, but they had a lot of carrots, which was the dominant flavor. The soup was good, though not outstanding; it had plenty of noodles but not enough broth. The brisket was well-cooked but a bit tough. Overall, my experience was just okay. One thing to note is that you pay at the register at the front. If you choose to pay by card, there's a 3% fee, if I remember correctly. The prices are fair compared to other places in the area.
I really enjoyed the spicy beef pho. The service was prompt, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. This is definitely a great spot for Vietnamese food in the Wilmington area.
Delicious! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely return—thank you for a great meal! 5/5
Our meal met my expectations, and the service was quick and efficient. The brisket pho was a bit fattier than I anticipated, but that won't stop me from returning.
