Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes Fries - Wilson

However, I have to update my review. On May 23, my experience took a turn for the worse when the food arrived cold, and my fries weren’t even included. It was a complete disappointment. Then, on July 27, I tried again, but it was another letdown. After discussing it with someone on our local Wilson Facebook group, I thought it would be worth giving them another chance—but that was a BIG MISTAKE! I ordered a build-your-own burger and also got a cheeseburger meal for my daughter, but I didn’t specify that she needed a drink with her meal. When our food arrived, I was eager to see how it turned out. Unfortunately, I found that there was only one piece of bacon—broken and burnt! It was absolutely pitiful. This has been the last straw for me!

I went for lunch and had a terrible experience. My first burger was missing bacon, which is fine because that can be added. However, the pepper jack cheese was hard and not melted at all. I sent it back and overheard the cook mention something about melted cheese causing issues with the grill. They sent the burger back out, but it still tasted like water and was undercooked. I didn’t want to deal with getting it fixed again, so I just paid for it and left feeling unsatisfied, having only taken a few bites. On a positive note, my server was very apologetic and sweet; I didn’t catch her name, but she was a slim blonde girl. I later went to another location a few miles away in Wilson, and they got everything right!

Tonight was dance night for the oldest so afterwards we decided to head to Highway 55 on airport since there was a nice review posted the other day on this location. Our service was extremely fast and efficient tonight and our food came out piping hot and delicious. One of the things that impressed us the most is how the staff was welcoming everyone that came in the door and holding the door for folks getting takeout. Even though we didn?t order anything for the 1 year old our waitress brought her a car to play with while we waited. Thanks Katie and Hwy 55!!

As soon as I walked through the door I and my family were immediately welcomed my service was exceptional, our drinks stayed full and we felt like we were waited on hand and foot out of all of the hwy 55 diners I have been to this is by far the best and to the cooks who prepared my food very excellent job. I couldn't think of a better meal to end 2021

This is what an order of fries looks like from Hwy 55.. Considering how much they charge this is absolutely ridiculous!
