The Plaisterers Arms - Winchcombe

Wonderful 500 year old pub in the heart of historic Winchcombe. Handy for visiting the town including shops, restaurants, and other pubs in the town. Within walking distance of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway. Our landlady Liz welcomed us and couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay. Had a two night stay here with 4 friends and we spent two wonderful, convivial evenings with hostess Liz in the old, atmospheric bar trying the well kept real ales, whiskies and other drinks and becoming firm friends with Liz in the process. Earlier we'd enjoyed sitting in the very pleasant beer garden. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Liz cooked us very tasty breakfasts to our choice each day. Highly recommended, especially if you would enjoy staying in a traditional and historic pub.

Her thoughtful suggestions for local attractions and activities added a layer of excitement to our trip. It's rare to find a host who genuinely cares about making their guests' stay as enjoyable as possible. Liz's dedication to running the BnB single handedly is truly impressive. Her attention to detail and commitment to providing a top notch experience for her guests is commendable. It's evident that she puts her heart and soul into every aspect of the BnB's operation. I can't recommend this BnB enough for anyone seeking a cozy and memorable getaway. Liz's warm hospitality, delicious breakfast, and personalized suggestions made our stay truly awesome.
