Mcdonald's - Winchester

The drive home was 20 miles, and when I unpacked my lunch, I discovered that the most important item was missing. This was especially disappointing for a young girl. Next time, I think I’ll opt for the drive-thru instead, especially for a big order like this. Overall, the pickup process was disorganized, and there were no clear signs for collecting orders.

The line can be quite long, but the service is quick and well-organized. I really enjoy the frappes, and my grandchild is a huge fan of the cheeseburger happy meal!

The lobby hours are really inconsistent. Sometimes it's open, and other times the doors are locked. For example, I arrived at noon on a Saturday and found it closed, even though it was open at the same time last weekend. This is quite frustrating. I think I might just go to the McDonald's up the road on Sunny Side instead; I’m tired of having to guess if the lobby will be open. Also, I've noticed an employee often sleeping in the booth where customers eat, which is a bit strange.

I ordered the two cheeseburger meal, and everything was served ice cold. The fries were soggy, and I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen, but it was very disappointing. It felt like the manager was absent during my visit.

This is one of my favorite McDonald's in the area. The food is freshly prepared, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is good. My only issue is that when you go inside, the staff seems more focused on directing customers to use the kiosks instead of letting them place their orders with a person.
