Írjon visszajelzéstXiao Long Bao is beautiful and a must try. Each dish is enough for an adult. It is a real Chinese Restaurant to try what Chinese food tastes. It doesn't alter the taste to appeal the Locals. Well done.
That's all that needs to be said. No pumpkin cakes! None. I scoured the menu for them and cried. Dumplings are alright though.
This has been a welcomed addition to the Chapel Street landscape, giving some excellent options for your Chinese food cravings! Service is great. It is licensed and the Sing Tao beers are always ice cold.
This is a very basic yet very authentic Chinese restaurant specializing in incredible dumplings. We shared three dishes among four of us. One was 8 steamed XiaoLongBao, a house specialty, another was 12 chicken and prawn steamed dumplongs, and a platter of Mongolian beef. All 3 were fabulous...ono of those meals that leaves an hour-long wonderful taste in your mouth. The restaurant isn't fancy and the service is fushed and a bit spotty, but theFood is worth it.
My colleagues and I frequent Shanghai Street dumpling in Windsor for takeaway. The one time our entire team decided to go in and eat together at the restaurant - we received the rudest service from your waiter Jacky. We walked in around 1:45pm on the 6/11/15, and two of your waiters who weren't busy attending to other patrons completely ignored us and did not offer us a table for a substantial amount of time. It wasn't until my colleague called out to the waiter Jacky that we are then seated. We are seated for a while and were not given any menus to look at so when Jacky brought over cutlery and serviettes, I asked him if he could also bring us some menus – which is a understandable request. He looked at me with the most irate expression on his face and exasperatedly said: “I was just putting this down alright? I'm just putting this down first.” My colleagues and I were all stunned. We all looked at each other bewildered and wondered what had provoked let alone warranted such negative attitude towards us.I was so embarrassed that my colleagues (who were mostly Caucasian) had to experience this awful and abhorrent customer service from your waiter. The manager of your Windsor franchise and Jacky arrogantly told me to go right ahead when I told them I would be writing a negative experience online about on your restaurant - they didn't apologise nor seem to care about trying to keep a positive customer experience. To the owners of Shanghai Street Dumpling - in this age where a restaurant’s reputation heavily relies upon the digital landscape and the referrals of others, you need to carefully consider who it is you are hiring to represent your restaurant and brand - because at the moment, your employee Jacky and the manager you have hired is destroying the reputation of your business. I will never visit Shanghai Street Dumpling again and will be passing on this message to all family and friends.
