Írjon visszajelzéstI wanted to go to the restaurant. A customer went out and told me the food was good. I'll tell you she's not lying at all. I had two cats dinner and they were excellent. The smell of the place reminds me of my grandmother's house on Sunday. Thank you for coming to Baltimore. Only soul food place I eat, and the customer service is fantastic and clean. They won't be disappointed.
I was very disappointed with them. My smothered chicken was over cooked and tough. I've never experienced dry baked chicken. The Mac was dry as well. The gravy tasted like the jar and I don't know how u mess up the taste of white rice.
Georgia, you let me down ?? I remember the days of getting some good fried chicken dinners from Georgia Peach. Those days remain a distant memory. I have no misunderstanding that most people like undercooked food. Conversely, it is taxing to find chefs that prepare for those ?well done? among us. I placed the order with my usual request, ?Wings fried Hard, please.? The gentleman responded with ?five to ten minutes, Sir.? Immediately I knew something was up. Fried hard or well done takes longer than that. After I reach my destination, I consume a mystery. Out of five wings, two wings fried hard, and three appeared to be flash-fried. *Flash-fried: crispy on the outside, uncooked rubber texture on the inside* This is not the order I expected. The underside of the Macaroni and cheese was wet, too moist for my liking. The string beans passed. If you are a person who likes their fried chicken wings fried hard, ignore what the cashier says. Be insistent about having your wings cooked longer than the norm. I promise you; it will save you the foodie remorse of consuming less than fried chicken.
I use to love Georgia Peach but now their absolute trash! They stopped accepting orders over the phone for carryout. ?Claims? that people order over $400+ for food a day and don?t come get it..You have to order online or walk in. I waited 45+ minutes for salmon. They didn?t even care how long I waited, seen I was getting upset didn?t even care. This was the second time they did this to me!!! Told me twice ?it?s coming it?s coming?. Not to mention one time before I ordered off Door Dash, mind you that wait is even longer.. forgot my string beans which I don?t understand how because it?s on the receipt in black white, I call to let them know, they had the audacity to tell me to come get it! Really said well you can come get it. Excuse me? That?s the purpose of me ordering Door Dash so I didn?t have to come!!! I never got my money back from them or Door Dash but it was a petty side that was like $5. Still. It?s the principle of the situation. Then wanna have attitudes because they can?t keep up with their orders or can work under pressure!!! Then the food don?t even be worth the wait. You can tell different people make the food on different days. The cornbread is also horrible!! Today was my last time at Georgia Peach in Woodlawn. And they was forgetting people items with their food like their gravy?s. Just bad for business. Look at how my food is all thrown together. Lol smh.. I waited all that time for the salmon for it to not even look done. Scumbags.
Normally, I'm very satisfied ordering from Georgia Peach...but today they lost a customer due to disappointment. I always order the fried chicken dinner and I am always pleased. Today our food wasn't ready when we got there (no big deal). The staff member told my boyfriend to check the food...but he didn't know that meant check the quality. The fried chicken thigh was half the size of a small thigh. It looks like they sold us a part of the chicken that should have been trashed. Whoever plated my food should have known better than to try to pass subpar chicken off to a loyal paying customer at $13.99 a pop. I don't want a refund...I'm just glad to know how this establishment treat customers. I'll be throwing this thigh in the trash; like the kitchen staff should have. Please check your food and the quality when you pick up your order. ?
