The parking lot is on the back of the building and there was plenty of space to park when we went on Friday night at 7 p.m. Once you are in the back of the building, there is a staircase. You go to the stairs and the restaurant is on the left, the washrooms are on the right side. You have a good selection of beer and a decent menu. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had the Chicken Schnitzel with red cabbage and sparrow. We also had the bratwurst, who also had the cabbage and sparrow. We also tried the hand cut vegetables with butter and caraway seeds. The carving was perfectly cooked and juicy and delicate. The hunter sauce had a delicious mushroom and bacon taste. The sausage tasted both delicate and juicy. Overall, it is a great place with tons of character.
I checked this place out for he 1st time this week, I was very pleased with this German comfort food! The Schnitzel buffet with all the fixings was delicious. I didn't even know it was open to the public until recently, check this place out for nostalgia and comfort food!
Warm and friendly people with great food for Folklorama.
Fantastic food including schnitzel, spaetzle, bratwurst, red cabbage and assorted tortes. Very welcoming, friendly staff and the entertainment at Folklorama 50 was fun, including traditional and contemporary music by the band and dancers.
If you been here a few times, extremely rude, rude members. Only the Frau that runs the restaurant is nice. We can make and eat our own Schnitzels in a much better place called home. The older people at the front table disrespectful and they should realize that others can hear their conversations. Especially the big old guy, loud and rude. Food was ok at best, the atmosphere was bad.. Not coming back. 3 times was enough.
