Junction 59 Roadhouse - Winnipeg

Really good dinner with friends on a Saturday night. taco chips with salsa were on the table when we arrived. we had made a reservation for 4 as we wanted to go during a busy time of the week. beautiful that we managed to have a waiting time for people arriving at 18:30 without reservation. we started with some appetizer wing BBQ sauce and honey garlic. the wings were fleshy and sauces were delicious. the dazzling fajita shells were fantastic we had 2 orders with steak and one with shiny pfeffer, sawed swash, rice, cheese, pickled swash, salsa, limettes and tortilla chips in this dazzling plate. the steak and garnel had good taste. beef burrito had rice, bark meat, cheese and too much chipotle mayo. the burrito would be the only article that we would have changed how it is made. the server was attentive. drinks were immediately refilled. we had a nice evening in this restaurant. would recommend the fajita dishes very tasty. the side of the guacamole was very good. we go back to this restaurant.

First time dining in this restaurant and inside was modern and very clean. Friendly staff. The Hot Rock Fajita dish was a crowd pleaser as it was exciting and different from the average meal. Although this dish was ordered for one person, it could be easily shared amongst two or three. I would recommend this restaurant and this dish to others.

I locked my eyes on the Country Fried Chicken and it was great! The price is great considering the large portion you get. A bit on the salty side so you might wna have the gravy on the side! But really, if you aren’t a heavy eater, it’s enough to share: chicken, cornbread, corn, mashed potatoes, and gravy. We paired it with a few alcoholic iced teas. And it went great. Service is great; super friendly and accommodating. Ambience is like Country Western meets Boston Pizza but better. It was my first time there, so definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu! Four of us attended here for lunch today. Absolutely the BEST steak sandwich I’ve EVER had, and I’ve had many. Great atmosphere, excellent service and staff and the food was excellent. One of our party had the hot fajita bowl and thoroughly enjoyed it but could have used a few more fajita’s which tended to stick together. The portions are huge and the homemade fries are awesome. The best sign the chef knows what he/she is doing was NO salt and pepper at the tables. Just an all round wonderful meal experience.

First time finally able to get there. I was very impressed! The atmosphere, Menu and prices are very comparable to a Moxies, Original Joe's, State and Main type establishment. The service was what I found sets Junction 59 apart from the others! This will definitely not be my last visit! I could very realistically see this becoming a regular stop for me! Loved it!
