New Golden Inn Restaurant - Winnipeg

Pulled in late, a half hour before closing. We were hungry and were met with a friendly reception. We ordered quickly and the food was quite good. The combination meals are an amazing value.Vegetarian options: Lots to choose from.

I have been going here for years. I can tell that the owners of old must have sold the restaurant to someone who hates their customers.To start the rice was days old. They served us old rice they didnt want to throw out. Then, We try to ordered chow mein. The server asked if we meant bean sprouts with dry noodles.I told her no, even argued that we wanted fried noodles.Whoever took the order insisted we have bean sprout chop suey. I told them I wanted chow mien noodles. They sent me the bean sprout chop suey anyhow with dry noodles in a bag.The beaf stew with bean cake had no meat in it. It was all cheap vegetables and tofu. The real insult was the fact they used rotten bok choy that had black mold on it in the dish. Something tasted off immediately. By the time we noticed they had closed. And we even tipped them for the abuse. Not only would I not recommend anyone going here ever I will be reporting this establishment for their gross misconduct.

WTH????!!!!No taste, very little noodles, minimal veggiesDrained out the “juice” container was less than 1/2 full ?Get your old chef back!

We ordered pic up some beef chow fun, Singapore noodles, and Cantonese Sweet and sour porkThe food was tasty and plentiful. I can’t believe how many times I have driven past it, and never ordered from it. I see there were some negative comments on delivery times. I ordered in person and waited, the food was ready in less than 15 min.Give it a try!
