Promenade Cafe and Wine - Winnipeg

Went here for coffee and dessert as the nearby coffee shops were basically closed for the day.They didn 't have much that was not obviously appearing very sweet. The man who seemed like the manager, if not the owner, suggested a sugar pie which he said had something that tastes like an old fashion. It sounded interesting, so I tried it, and it did taste really good. Never had an old fashion, so I can not confirm his claim.Americano was good, too. The dining room was pleasant to sit in. During this afternoon coffee time, it was basically just us and another table.There is plenty of free residential street parking around.I would try here again.

We had Bruce as our server, who was incredibly friendly, funny, and welcoming. His recommendations and the food were absolutely incredible. I love the that this restaurant is grounding itself in the community and serves local ingredients that taste amazing without breaking the bank. We came here from Pittsburgh and Minneapolis and would love to come back!

Excellent on top of being quiant charming and great views. I'm definitely a regular customer moving forward.Dietary restrictions: My friend suffers from gluten allergies, and this is one of the rare times he has found Eggs Bennie with gluten-free Hollandaise. The staff was awesome and really seemed happy to be at our service.

If I can give more stars, I would have given them 20. The meal that I had; Eggs Benedict with Artic Char on banick was the best that I ever had.Food: 5/5
