Wasabi Sabi - Winnipeg

My wife and I have visited here twice in the last two weeks, living in the Uk we can seldom get our hands on good sushi!In summary, the food here is absolutely top notch, it is made in front of you by friendly kitchen staff, and in a timely but I rushed manner.The restaurant and bar are both intimate and romantic, which sets it apart from the majority of sushi places.Lastly, the service was absolutely brilliant. On the first occasion we had a blonde chap whose name I don't recall, he was in our opinion working at silver service standard, operating way above his post at Wasabi! Polite, attentive, and professional. On our second occasion we were waited on by Raul, who was also very good.Many thanks to Wasabi, I'm sure we will return.

Great selection of Sushi...cooked or raw ....great location and ambiance ! Great for couples, families and business !

Just had dinner at Wasabi sabi for the first time in a while and it was as good as ever! Everything was fresh and delicious!

Had dinner last night and was very tasty. Shrimp and mango is not to be missed. Everything was fresh and clean tasting. Chefs were out in the open displaying their skills and staff were wonderful. We ate in the restaurant as the seats in the lounge were too low for some of us to be comfortable in, although the lounge did look like fun. We we go back as soon as we can.

My mom and I were trying to find a restaurant that was open around 3pm for lunch - couldn't seem to find anything that we liked and so we tried Wasabi - Surprise!! They don't close, they stay open all afternoon (the one on Broadway is closed from 2-4pm); We got a great table in the back of the restaurant, our server was fantastic! He knew when to come and go and was not just lingering.. Food is expensive but a little better when you can have the lunch menu - Food is so good! Sushi to die for! Had the ginger brule for desert! WOW!
