Light Rail Cafe Roaster - Winona Lake

I used to love this place and went here 2 to 3 times a week but my last several trips here have been not so great. Ownership made some changes and the coffee really went downhill to the point the decaf wasn't drinkable, their online ordering system either doesn't work or didn't put my order through the one time it did work. They keep closing earlier and earlier. This morning I walked in there for breakfast 20 minutes before they switched to lunch and the manager informed everyone in line they wouldn't be able to order breakfast because the line was too long. They have good food when you can get it but it's just been too much hassle and frustration going there lately.

We went there at breakfast time. Everyone that ordered food was happy with their dish. Tasted good, hot, timely. We were surprised because the place filled right up when we got there. I ordered a hot espresso drink. A peppermint mocha made with almond milk. I think it may be the best one I have ever had!!!!

Love this place and come here often, and will keep coming. However only 4 stars as I am always perplexed how they sell out of very popular menu items on regular occasion by 8:30-9 am.

Very over priced for stuff that's honestly not the best, I miss the place it used to be. Coffee is always watered down and weak, and a cup will run you nearly $8. It's cute inside and I don't mind the outside seating, the inside gets crowded fast. Over all bottom line, there's just better places to go imho. I'd love to see a little more of a middle ground between the high prices and quality.
