Hot Dog City - Winston Salem

The African American woman did her job sarcastically. I asked her these two apple cakes were the only cakes they were dessert. And she told me that this is all that it was good that I looked at the left side of me and I saw a whole small freezer full of different desserts, what you only know that I only saw it, but for them not to say, there was no desserts and went away, I even stood there for a minute and wait like her or the young African American, the cook was until she was busy there to ask me. First time here?it won?t be my last! Happened to be in W/S and wanted a good hot dog. Hot Dog City is where it?s at! Very friendly, honest about the wait as they cook everything to order, and the food is spot on. If you are near W/S check them out?it?s worth it!

Great hot dog (I got the foot long with the works), neat and big menu! I'll be back to try the other offerings, like that one pound hamburger. Fries were excellent, they seed to be double fried and seasoned but retained some of the potato life inside the shell.

I love Hot Dog City, Most of them know me by my name, which I love! Even if I call, all I have to say is the one thing I order ALL the time, something that isn't really on the menu, it's on there but I get it made without the one ingredient that's in the menu item name. But yeah, the food is made to order so you may have to wait, I don't mind. They have vegetarians hot dogs, burgers, and chili. The fries may look like a lot of seasoning salt is on it but it's not salty at all. Hot Dog City is on the corner of Patterson and Glenn, right at the light. Parking isn't the best but it works. They do deliver, no more than 10-15mins out for a delivery fee. They do accept tips inside, they are awesome, leave a tip.
