Mizu Japanese - Winston Salem

I've never really had sushi, and if you don't either that is definitely the place to go for your first experience! We ordered the Rock Shrimp Tempura appetizer and it was great. My guest ordered the Peace Haven Roll and enjoyed it thoroughly, and I had the Caribbean Roll with shrimp and mango and it was absolutely spectacular with all the different perfectly mixed flavors and textures. The sushi rolls were about $16 per and $7 for a large part of the fried rice we both shared was a very affordable and remarkably delicious dinner. There are so many other items on the menu that I would like to try, but my next meal will be the Mizu Lover's Boat for 2 different Sushi Sushimi. Can't wait! I hope to see you there!

Best sushi around! Kind servers, extensive menu, and very fair prices! This is the French style sea bass with purple sweet rice! Absolutely amazing!

Grew up in Orlando, had my share of the top sushi and finally found excellent sushi here in NC! The fish tasted fresh, rolls a excellent, and service was fast. Paid a little more than we would usually pay, but the quality made it worth it. This is truly a gem in Winston!

This is hands-down the best sushi restaurant in Winston Salem. They have some very original rolls that are incredible. My favorite is the Hokkaido roll, which has apples in it. Also love the sunrise roll. You can 't really go wrong. We 've tried at least half the rolls on the menu and have never been disappointed. They do get busy, especially on the weekends. And it does get a bit noisy when the Wake Forest students get rowdy. But the food is worth it. Always fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation and great service. Been coming here for years now, and it has been nothing but consistent from the beginning. Even through the pandemic, they continued their quality through take-out. Here tonight, in person, for the first time in over a year, and all I can say is Bravo! Still the best sushi around.

Mizu was such a surprising little gem of a find! Super clean and cozy casual spot with delicious sushi. I would definitely come back to try more sushi.
