Arooga's - Winter Park

The food was fantastic! We ordered the buffalo chicken mac and cheese and a barbecue quesadilla. My server, Sammy, was incredibly sweet and attentive, taking the time to explain everything to me. She was one of the best waitresses I've ever had. Food rating: 5/5.

This sports bar is like the Cheesecake Factory of its kind. The menu is overly extensive, which often leads to disappointing dishes, and this place is no exception. It wouldn't be as frustrating if the prices weren't so steep for what you receive. You might expect that the high prices would come with larger portions, but that's not the case here; they are quite average. To top it off, they even charge extra for their ranch dressing, which is excessively heavy on the vinegar. It seems that the era of affordable, indulgent sports bar food is over, and now every establishment is charging prices akin to those at a theme park restaurant.

I really wish I had discovered this place sooner. There are plenty of screens throughout the restaurant, even at some tables, and I’m pretty sure they offer the NFL and NBA packages. The food is tasty and reasonably priced for pub fare, and they have a great drink selection. Food: 5/5

Love eating here, the food is always delicious and the portions are perfect for actually feeling satisfied after eating. I’m so glad they have good vegetarian and gluten free options as well. The staff is so friendly and always welcoming. Definitely recommendFood: 5/5

I ordered the chicken wing stromboli via door dash. It arrived luke warm but the delivery took long so I didn’t fault the restaurant for this. The stromboli itself was neither good nor bad, it was very average but a couple hours after eating it I was extremely nauseated and sick to my stomach. After reading other reviews for Arooga’s, I’ve found that this nausea is unfortunately a common side effect. As I sit here eating a Tums, I wish I had looked at the reviews before consuming the food but I wouldn’t order again.
