Írjon visszajelzéstI have never encountered coffee so burnt in my life; it was absolutely disgusting. I’m not sure if I just had bad luck, but it was really awful. Considering the price, it’s simply unacceptable.
It's unfortunate that this place boasts a great location and, presumably, good coffee and desserts, yet fails to create an enjoyable experience for its patrons. I can only speak for my visit, but it was quite empty when I arrived. I ordered a flat white and a blueberry cake, and to my surprise, they served the coffee in a paper cup and the cake in a paper bag, despite having actual cups and plates available and with no one else in line. I hadn't requested takeout; I chose to sit at a table, yet I couldn't fully enjoy the coffee, not only because of the packaging but also due to the unwelcoming attitude of the two baristas, who didn’t even acknowledge me when I said goodbye. I hope to return for another visit and have a more positive experience so I can revise this review. I sincerely hope my experience was an exception and that most visitors enjoy their time there.
I enjoy coffee, but come on! $4.28 for a single espresso? In my own reusable cup, no less! You've really taken overpriced to an entirely new level. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
Coffee was solid; well extracted single origin espresso though it was a bit pricey. I spilled my shot on the counter (completely my fault) and they pulled another for me; they were extremely nice and understanding. The atmosphere was nice with a lot of places to sit and chat or work.
Blue Bottle from my experience is not bad at all, but I am basing this review solely on my experience here. I ordered the hojicha latte here and I either didn't hear my name get called or they didn't call it. I was the only person standing around waiting in front of them for several minutes before I asked if my drink was ready and they told me it had been sitting there waiting. It was the weakest hojicha latte I've ever tried and it tasted almost like just drinking pure milk. I did appreciate the latte art though. I also tried their single origin dark chocolate, which was $2 for 0.42oz. It was quite expensive for a tiny piece and I didn't particularly enjoy it either as it didn't stand out to me in any way from most other dark chocolate. It may not be the norm here since other locations have been great, but my review is based on the customer service I received and the quality of the drink I tried here.
