General Wolfe Hotel - Wolfe Island

I couldn't get better food and ask friendly waiters. very reasonable prices too. we're coming back.

We decided to grab a bite to eat and found that the menu had limited options and the portion sizes were quite small. However, the server was very friendly and courteous.

Nice diner and pub. very friendly and helpful. we are stranded there in the rain and drove back to the ferry 4 km away.

I was so excited about a nice Saturday afternoon on wolfe island young I was disappointed by this place. it was my first time on this place could be my last. the live music was great, they have. a beautiful terrace. I have nothing good to say about this place. when we arrived, we sat on the terrace, as they did not find any hostess. After waiting 5 minutes to see no server, I went into the bar to get a drink. in an extremely snotty vote I was told that they have table service, so I went back to my table to wait for the server. After almost 15 minutes, she finally showed up to tell me that they don't use pitchers on the terrace. so we got single drinks that lasted at least 15 minutes. had to remind her a second time to bring additional glasses for water. we were there for 2.5 hours and never received a meal (innocent that a menu was twice insured that she would be back in 5 minutes to take our order.) we got 3 drinks from her, but that was it. from the 100 times I was for a meal, that is the worst service I have ever received. ruins our day.

Great patio, awesome Saturday after music! Random service, best to go to the bar to get yourself a drink. Washrooms on the patio can get pretty sketchy. Owners often visible on the patio but don’t appear to be doing much problem solving with service challenges...or washroom attention. Great venue with a little tlc could be an awesome venue.
