Tonight we have been and I ordered my usual 2lb of fish pakora, he always warms the bag up for me and I leave and start eating. I walk outside take a bite and instantly know that its not fish. My wife runs back into the shop and asks are you sure this is fish? The man replies 100% definitely. We leave the shop start walking back to our car he runs out waves us down and realises he made a mistake it was chicken pakora. He calls us back for me to hand him my bag of warmed up chicken pakora with a piece I had half eaten and put it back on the tray with the other pieces of chicken pakora to resell all whilst handing me a batch of fish pakora. I've literally threw up as I left. Needless to say I will not be going there again and will be reporting this further. Absolute disgrace.
Need to have more varieties. Food need to be prepared a fresh. Items often outdated.
I would not describe Mushtaq as a restaurant, it is more like a sweet centre that does savoury food and has a few seats. I often pop in at lunchtime for a lamb or chicken sheek kebab good value and always very tasty.
I have passed Mushtaq sweet centre and never actually gone in because of its poor hygiene rating. However, went there with my boys for a quick smaosa to take home. The place wasnt busy, yet i had to wait 20 minuites before i got served. Not only that, but boys had terrible stomach ache the next day.
Clean and nice place to dine in. Loved the taste of sheesh kabab... Will visit again...
