Írjon visszajelzéstI absolutely love this charming little sandwich shop! Two of my friends recommended it to me, and I’m so glad they did. I tried the Coach sandwich, and it was delicious—highly recommend it! The pimento cheese and tiger sauce were fantastic. The mint lemonade was enjoyable, although I couldn’t really taste the mint. The potato salad was outstanding! Our server, Sarah, was very friendly and had great energy. I will definitely be back to try more of their sandwiches!
First off, the place is small, with just a handful of two-top and four-top tables, along with a small counter area. It has a classic feel, as if it has been a part of Richmond's history for ages. Our waiter seemed a bit out of place, but he was attentive and responsive, serving everyone except those at the counter. I ordered the MLT (mayo, lettuce, tomato) and my daughter got the BLT. Although she specifically requested no mayo, it arrived with it. Fortunately, our waiter quickly fixed the mistake. My daughter really enjoyed her sandwich, while I found mine to be just okay. The meat in my sandwich lacked flavor, making it feel rather bland. On a positive note, the homemade pickles were fantastic! The sandwiches themselves were quite generous in size. We also tried a slice of funfetti cake and a mixed berry cake. My daughter loved the funfetti, and I saw another customer raving about it too, so it must be good. The cakes were delicious, and I think they would be even better warm with a dollop of whipped cream on top. Overall, it was a good experience. The menu had a wide selection, so I’m sure I can find something I’d enjoy even more on my next visit. I plan to go back soon!
I’m really disappointed that I didn’t get to try one of the cakes on the counter! So here’s my review: definitely order the chicken salad sandwich—it was fantastic and the portions were generous! The atmosphere is incredibly charming; I loved the decor and the pictures on the walls! Our waitress was really kind and attentive. The only small issue we encountered was with the lemonade; my boyfriend thought it was a bit too tart. But don’t let that deter you from visiting!
A funny, small place! like 18 seats are the small (a few more when the seats are open at the switch.) what it is not at the moment. sandwiches and salat are the specificity. both were excellent. they also offer a limited but tasty selection of cakes and/or cake options. fun place for a quick lunch. be aware that they have to wait during the busy hours.
Love the sandwiches here. I don't know where they get their roast beef but it's my favorite. The cold meat loaf sandwiches are pretty popular too. Their online ordering is super easy, it will text you when it's ready and then you're in and out.
