The Commons - Woodinville

I think they are still trying to figure out the new normal. Service was very slow. They brought food but no silverware or napkins. No refills on drinks. We were outside and rarely saw a service person at all.

Food was fine, did have to wait longer than we expected but figure it was working out the kinks and rules for reopening. Only problem was the food was a bit spicy for 2 of us.

I expected the dinner menu to be much larger and more interesting. More of a lunch place, IMO

Not much to recommend The Commons other than location on the wine- tasting circuit in Woodinville. Breakfast was a mix of IHOP-level, perfunctory cooking: French toast right out of Sysco freezer and a ham and egg sandwich that was bland and uninteresting. Probably not a bad place to have a cup of coffee and network with coworkers, but for food, there just has to be better options.

Consistency is key! My parents and I come here every time they're in town. They liked it so much they came back for breakfast the next day. Thanks for always being excellent! To date, this might be the only restaurant I'll happily pay the 20% service charge for gratuity. The staff earns it every time.
