Popped in on the way home to get a meal. We had a chicken parmy and beef schnitzel with gravy. Really happy with the meals. They were good quality, fresh salads and good size. Beef schnitty was huge! The pub is what you’d expect from a normal country pub, but could do with an interior refresh at some stage.

It's good to know that some things never change. I walked into the bar expecting not to recognise it but it was just the same as 30 years ago. Like a mini time capsule. I loved it! The publicans were friendly, the wood fired heater warmed us up and the beer was cold. They even had a juke box in the corner and I haven't seen one of those in years. They supply meals in the dining room but we didn't eat. I'm really happy to have visited and found it just the way it used to be :

Lovely country ambience.... great staff.... food was 5 star...markets next door.... outdoor area... just loved it... definitely going again
