We don't come here very often. They didn't have many things on the menu we liked. We came here today to watch USA play England. Beer was cold. Fish and chips were hot and tasty. Service was exceptional.Food: 5/5

Stopped in for lunch on a Monday. Ordered the amazing Shepherd's pie. It was cooked to perfection. Wonderful proportion of meat, rich gravy, vegetables and mashed potato crust. No mushy veggies, too! Yum, yum, yum.Food: 5/5

Foods pretty good and a decent variety at that, but it 's little bit more expensive than I 'd like. It 's typical for bar food prices though, I 'm just kinda cheap. I 've only been a few of times but it seems there is always a handful of groups inside, so it never really feels empty when I 'm there even at odd hours. It never got too loud when I went, which I have more sensitive ears so I appreciate not needing to use earplugs.My only complaint is that twice now I went and got treated as though I was underage because I don 't look as old as I am (I look 18ish). The waiters would take the beer menu (not that I like alcohol anyways) nearly as soon as we sat down, both times saying something like I don 't think you will be needing these , and on my most recent trip, a coworker and I had our menus taken after we ordered appetizers, which we weren 't sure what to think about that. We remembered our orders though, and when our waiter came back we ordered them, and our waiter seemed a little bit surprised. I could have taken things the wrong way but I couldn 't but help feel a bit insulted. Outside of those 2 experiences everything was great.

I am always open to leave a review for exceptional service service or crappy service. Today I have to say management failed miserably today. It's labor Monday and they have one waitress, one bartender, and I have to assume a cook and we have a full restaurant. Sorry but I was here 40 minutes before I could place an order. The waitress is helping with food prep and the waitress and bartender are running food. Whoever manages this place should be fired or out here running orders IMO Bc it's humanly impossible for one waitress to handle 11 tables and a bar where 11 people are trying to get served.
