The Woombye Pub

Phoned this hotel praying that they would be open last night because most weren't because of the cyclone and no electricity. Thankfully they were but only had a limited menu, which was read to me while on the phone. Arrived for dinner and the steak that we ordered was absolutely delicious. Very tender and cooked just as we had asked for. There was nothing for desert but it didn't matter I ordered an Irish coffee instead and it was just as perfect as the main meal.Thank guys for a great meal prepared under difficult circumstances. We'll be back

Well to start with the cutlery was dirty, not good . I got calamari it was poor quality. Have been a few times before had the ribs every time and they are were good. so I would say just have the ribs if you go to the WP.

The lunchtime specials are great value especially fish & chips, 200g porterhouse steak w/salad & chips - for just $13 - can't beat those. Great staff, good selection of sides & drinks - it is what it is - a great local institution - finding something on the menu for everyone is easy peasy!

Had tea here was excellent food I liked the look of the Hotel felt comfortable good location just up from the Big Pineapple near Nambour.If you like to be entertained there are often Bands playing here had a good room outback that suits a band and has bar facilities in same room which is good and plenty of seating and Dance floor.

The meal at the Woombye Pub was fantastic and the standard you would expect from a major restaurant or international hotel. Huge portions and great taste. The only down side was the blaring pop music that would put so many people off returning. Just think of the potential of that wonderful food and at atmosphere where you can carry out a conversation with the other people at your table without shouting ! BUT overall the food was superb.
