Woonona Pizza Kitchen

I called ahead to make a reservation and informed the restaurant that we needed to be out by 7:45 for a show. The lady on the phone assured me not to worry. When we arrived, it was crowded and we were promptly seated, but by 7:45 our food had not yet arrived. I inquired about the wait time to the waitress who then expedited our order. At the counter, I paid for what we had eaten and requested the rest of our order to take out. A young, rude employee interjected in a disrespectful manner, prompting me to write this review. Despite a kind and apologetic response from another staff member, I decided to pass on paying and will go elsewhere. It is understandable that things get busy, but customer service should never become personal or hostile. I would recommend reevaluating the treatment of customers in similar situations.

We recently visited this restaurant and had a fantastic meal. We ordered the penne arrabiata and the Woonona pizza, both of which were delicious and full of flavor. The pizza, in particular, was outstanding with its top-quality ingredients. We also indulged in the bomboloni donuts for dessert, which were absolutely amazing. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant, especially with the beautiful lights at night, made our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place.

The pizzas at this restaurant are large, but they consistently take longer to make than the estimated time given. It is recommended to add an extra 10-20 minutes to any time they provide. On busy nights, customers have reported waiting well over an hour for their orders.

We eat regularly in woonona pizza kitchen for a casual eating and occasionally order the farewell from here. this is a simple, casual restaurant with a good selection of pizzas and some other essential meals. some of our favorites are the sweet kartoffel fries and the...Pesto chicken pizza. the restaurant is byo and there is a liquorland around the corner for buying alcohol. the atmosphere is usually friendly and (in a Friday night) quite busy, with many people coming through to pick up takeaways. they also have a couple of good offers on montages and Wednesdays of 2 large pizzas for $40 with garlic bread and a bottle drink, only available for taking. we always enjoy eating in this restaurant as a family if they are looking for a delicious but casual eating.

Took so long forfood it is embarrassing. We have been here for almost 2hours without food. Absolute atrocious.
