Local Roots Market And Cafe - Wooster

This was our first visit to Wooster, and we chose this restaurant because it was listed on Happy Cow. It exceeded our expectations, and I don't think the description does it justice. They offered a wide variety of deliciously prepared vegan dishes, along with some great options for snacks. Since it's a food co-op, they have plenty of other items available in addition to the prepared foods. We highly recommend this place and are looking forward to returning!

There are so many vegan options available, including baked goods, various food items, and even a fully vegan coffee chef on Fridays. They also support many local producers throughout the year, which is a huge plus. Additionally, the coffee shop is fantastic!

This is the spot where local vegans gather to relax and enjoy delicious meals with trust and smiles all around. We look forward to our Friday vegan specials, which are always of the highest quality. Chefs Josh and Jamie are inspiring the rise of vegan culture in our small town, one meal at a time.

Only a few options for prepared eating, but they had some frozen black bohnenburger, suppen, queso, a line of vegan chocolate.

Got cauliflower lentil soup and grilled veggie sandwich. Delicious. Menu consists of local in season foods. Nice variety and hearty portions. Staff was extremely friendly and cafe was very clean. Neat art shop and groceries available. Would definitely go back.
