Kai Sushi Grill - Worcester

My husband and I decided to celebrate our 26th anniversary tonight at this restaurant. The lobster and filet dish was truly a delight! We shared this special meal (yes, 26 years together) and also tried the gyoza and the Red Sox roll to stimulate our senses. The Seekers Martini was a delicious dessert that we will remember for years to come, and we can't wait to come back again. The only reason we didn't give this experience 5 stars was because of the small bar area. The chefs truly deserve a larger and more upscale environment to showcase their talents. The food was so incredible that I would eat it even in a cave and still give it 4 stars! I'm grateful that my husband chose this fantastic restaurant for our celebration, and we're already looking forward to trying the Snicker Tini dessert again! It was the best dessert I've had in 26 years!

We have dined at Kai several times in the past. Tonight, we came for dinner expecting the same experience we had enjoyed before. However, the service was poor (our waitress seemed overwhelmed) and the menu had changed (no substitutions allowed). When we requested spinach instead of asparagus (which we had always had before), we were told it was not possible. The steak dinner, which used to come with a side, was now served alone. We might come back for drinks, but we will not be dining here again. There are many other restaurants in the city where we can enjoy a meal the way we like it, at a more reasonable price with excellent service. We will make wiser choices in the future.

Eating tastes good, service is not the best and the prices are very high. aswell as portions are small

This was a fantastic experience and the best omakase I have had since living in Japan! The food was incredibly tasty!

Pre-ordered the restaurant's Party Platter #3 two days ahead. The order was ready at the time requested and the tray of sushi and sashimi was well recieved by a group of aficionados. They picked the platter clean. Very happy with the choice.
