Borras Park Fish - Wrexham

Popular local fishable. delicious food. very delicious fish. I've been back for a few years and the first thing we've done was for our fishing to the Borras chips.

Nit had a chippy tea for years, so thought I 'd go back to my old stomping ground. (Used to work here in the '80 's) Was not disappointed. Food wasquality, and good value for money, even if there was a slight price increase over 30 years

I visited yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the improvements in the shops and menus. My order was completed swiftly and efficiently, all with a smile, despite the busy atmosphere and hot weather. I enjoyed the large fish and chips, which were all freshly cooked.

The prices are a little on the high side, but the extra cost is definitely worth it. The fish and chips are £6.10 and absolutely delicious. However, in my opinion, the standout dish on the menu is the house-made chicken curry. It comes in a plastic bag, similar to how you might get a takeaway from a Chinese restaurant, so the chips are served separately at the end. I specifically requested no boiled rice, as it would take away from the curry experience, but after all, it is a fish and chip shop. The chips are consistently great—I'd give the whole experience a 9/10.

The fish and chips were massive and of great quality, all at a good price. The kebab was delicious as well. I will definitely return!
