La Fenice - Würzburg

Every time I went through here, there are always lots of people. So one day I decided to have dinner with my colleague in this restaurant. My God! It's terrible! The price is higher than the other Italian restaurants, but the food is just so so. Disappointed me so much!

Discovered this place the last time we were in Würzburg, and have always come back when we are in town! Great service, nice waiters, luscious yummy food, that is served attractively. They are a full service Italian restaurant with traditional Italian cuisine, wine, beer, and drinks; that also serves pizza!! Great prices for the quality of food.

Die Pizza schmeckte wirklich gut. Der Teig schmeckt top und der Belag ist ebenfalls gut schmeckend. Leider war auf unserer Pizza etwas (viel) Wasser, das vermutlich von den Tomaten stammen könnte. (Das Gemüse auf der vegetarischen Pizza war etwas sehr ölig, was dem Geschmack aber kein Abbruch tut, aber bei Manchen eben geschmackssache ist) Aber geschmacklich wirklich eine Runde Sache, die Pizza.Der Beilagensalat ist ebenfalls gut, verschiedene Salatsorten,etwas Tomate und Gurke, aber leider etwas wenig Dressing,was echt schade ist. Das Ambiente draussen ist sehr nett, die Tische sind weit genug auseinander und obwohl man direkt an der Strasse sitz, ist es nicht zu laut und der gesamte Außenbereich ist mit grünen Pflanzen umrandet. Der Service war ok.

We found the food to be overpriced, cold, poorly cooked and with no Italian authenticity. When we informed the staff of our dissatisfaction their attiude was unbelievable. I have never received such terrible customer service in a German (or Italian) restaurant before. The guy who said he was the owner, Alexandro, said he couldn't care less what we thought because he already has so much money that our opinion as tourists didn't matter! We were stunned by his rudeness and hope others take note of our experience before parting with their hard earned money.
