I always enjoy my experience at Fat Joe's. I order the chicken cordon bleu and sweet potato fries. The sandwich is huge and the fries are amazing! Staff are always prompt and responsive.

During my visit to town, I decided to dine at this restaurant. I arrived a little later than the lunch rush on a Saturday and was seated promptly. The waitress handed me the menu and brought me a beer list since it was my first time there. I opted for the Fat Joe's Amber Lager, which was good but not outstanding. For my meal, I chose to Build Your Own Burger since none of the specialty options caught my eye. I ordered a beef burger cooked to medium perfection, topped with American cheese, bacon, and a medium-cooked egg. I opted for chips as a side, although I regret not choosing fries instead. The food arrived as requested, but I did have to ask for another beer as the waitress did not check in while I was eating. Despite my unfamiliarity with downtown FDL, I ended up parking about three blocks away, which was probably a good thing after indulging in such a filling meal.
