I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. They initially lost our order, but they quickly acknowledged the mistake and handled it efficiently. The mimosas were excellent—it's the first time I ever tried them. I also had a bit of the onion soup, which was just okay. However, the Reuben sandwich was very good. The service was outstanding, especially considering how busy they were; it was impressive that our waitress was so attentive. The owners even took the time to visit our table, even before the mix-up was identified. They apologized and made things right, which is something you don't see often from restaurant owners these days. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I will definitely return.

One of my favorite places in Wylie. Great location, the food is delicious and served hot. I love the service, I had several servers and I have no complaint about any, they were all great. Absolutely worth the ride, their menu offers several meals and deserts at an affordable price, the volcano chocolate cake is one of my favorites. I recommend this place to each of my friends because it is so good!

Delicious food and welcoming environment. Taste of Home is the kind of comfort restaurant you need for a relaxing lunch. Operating in a modified home, the restaurant truly lives up to its name. Noise level is great and conversations are easy to hear. The waiting staff is friendly. Taking into consideration that I went on a sunny summer day, it was a little warm inside but not uncomfortable. Definitely will revisit should I ever get a craving for southern comfort.
