Canaan Chinese Takeaway - Wyre Forest

Ordered a take away for delivery. Delivery was as advised. The food was excellent, plenty of it, hot and tasty. Did have an item we had not ordered (but not charged for) and rang to advise. However could not get them to understand so kept it. Overall a good meal.

If I could leave minus stars I would. Ordered a delivery to my caravan for 8pm on a Saturday night. I received a phone call at 8.30pm from a very rude delivery driver telling me he wish outside the site office and I should go and collect from him. This wouldn’t normally be a problem for most people , my problem was my disability, the driver was informed of the problem and told that I could see him from my decking and told him to turn left I was 100 yards from him. The driver screamed at me telling me too many caravans he can’t find even though he was clearly in sight of my caravan. He insisted I go fetch the food. When I pointed out that my bill included a £1.50 delivery charge he continued to scream at me to go collect the food. I have never known such terrible service from a takeaway. So the upshot was he wouldn’t deliver, I couldn’t collect from him so he drove away. Thankfully I had chosen the pay cash on delivery option, if I hadn’t I would have ended up paying for a delivery that they wouldn’t deliver. I called the restaurant to complain about the total lack of compassion service only to have the phone slammed down on me. Stay well away from this awful place.

Always ordered from other Chinese takeouts in town, was recommended here, ordered on App so no waiting on the phone, delivered within an hour which is very good on Saturday evening. Food was really enjoyable, hot and flavoursome. Will be recommending!! Thank you

The only good thing about this meal was that it was delivered quickly. The beef in the curry was slimy and the crispy chicken wings tasted like they were cooked in old oil. My husband ordered the Peking chicken wings, which he had never tried before, but they ended up in the garbage along with the uneaten food. I hate to be harsh, but we were not impressed.

I have used this takeaway twice in the last month while staying at our nearby caravan site. The first time, I ordered food for my wife and myself, but when I arrived back after collecting the order at the main gate, it was missing. The second time, when I ordered delivery, the driver called me to say he was leaving, so I left to meet him. However, halfway there, I received another call with the driver shouting at me to hurry up, then hung up the phone. I was tempted to address the driver's behavior, but when I returned, both of our orders were incorrect. The food was tasty, but not what we had ordered. I don't think I will use this restaurant again.
