Adobe Resort Oregon - Yachats

It was Thanksgiving. We had reservations in advance, but we waited more than an hour after our reservation. Then the look was dark. I got 1 thin slice of salty turkey with a ham. No, disappoint.

Adobe Restaurant has the best sea views in Yachats and has a long menu. My wife and I showed up there (our third visit in the last two years on a Friday night with another couple. I had made a reservation from 19:00 to be there at sunset. We had to go up to approx. 7:20pm to sit, but got a window table on request. We all ordered specials from their dinners. Three of us ordered the Heilbutt special and one, Prime Rib. The waitress returned to say they were all from healbutt and prime rib. (Perhaps 19:00 is late for eating in Yachats? We changed to Scallops (three and steak). We were happy with our dinners, even if they were our second choice. Service was friendly and attentive.

Convenient to our hotel. Eating was okay, but Bland. Service was good and view was nice.

Bummed that she served cod instead of salmon in the sunday buffet

Great Sunday buffet with good food and service which we always visit on our trip to the area.
