Taste Of Italy - Yadkinville

This restaurant is overrated by the locals. Even their basic Italian dishes are mediocre at best; a taste of them is about all you can expect. The salads and garlic bread are their only redeeming qualities. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine, consider Kitchen Rosellis in East Bend or DiLisio's in Winston Salem. There are better options out there—just not here.

I had a fantastic meal despite the challenges posed by COVID-19. I ordered everything "extra crispy" and it was delicious! I had the chance to chat with both the waitress and the owner. He mentioned that due to health risks and closed dining rooms, their business has dropped by 50%. The waitress added that they managed to keep all the staff employed and are expanding delivery options to support everyone. It's wonderful to see the community coming together in such tough times. I will definitely order again soon to help their business, and I can vouch that the food is excellent!

If you haven't visited this restaurant lately and you're a fan of pizza and wings, you need to check it out! I personally love their hot wings and pepperoni pizza—both are outstanding. It's definitely one of my favorite dining spots. The service is excellent, with friendly staff and owners. I highly recommend it!

We've been eating here for years, but tonight will be our last visit. I can treat quality over quantity every day. Here you are. I ordered pasta fagioli and baked manicotti. The Manicotti came with only 2 any other place you get 3 or 4 depending on size. Well, that was kind of shameful not even mentioning baked. It came out as if it was heated in a microwave and the cheeses crushed a few teaspoons were sitting on it, not even melted. The soup was more watered than a glass of iced tea in the sunshine. The only reason I give him 2 stars is this time that my husband ordered a Stromboli and actually got it. Last time he ordered a Stromboli, they got him a calzone.

My boyfriend and I were lured in with the free appetizer promotion we received at the Yadkinville wine festival. It was great, coming from NY it is hard to find, what we consider, good pizza. Luckily I have to pass them on my way to Jonesville each weekend, so Friday night pizza night will be supplied by A Taste of Italy going forward.
